SPRAY WAX

I want the spray, but the smell, smells like after shave my father wore in the 60s. So now I have to spray perfume in my hair, no that's not happening! Make this product smell nice and you'd sell a lot more, until then, it's now in the trash...

I use this everyday to give fullness and control to my short hair style. Not stick or heavy.

I am so disappointed in this product now. I first used this about 7 years ago while growing my hair back after chemo. It was called Wax Blast then and it was awesome with no noticeable smell. I just recently changed my hairstyle and bought the now called Spray Wax hoping nothing had changed other than the name and packaging. I should have known Redken couldn’t leave it alone. This IS NOT the same product. Sadly, however, though the hold is not as good, I think I could use it if it wasn’t for the God awful smell. I can’t even describe it but it wasn’t a smell affiliated with any kind of hair care you’d want near your head. And what’s worse is the smell does not dissipate after a while. It just lingers. I couldn’t wait to wash my hair to get rid of the odor. The little time I had it in my hair I was hoping no one around me would smell it and wonder what I’d put on it. It’s pretty bad to use a hair product you’re afraid you’ll get embarrassed by using it. And why the smell at all? I don’t recall the old Wax Blast having any type of smell. So guess I’ll need to find me something else to replace it. And after this smelly experience, it definitely won’t be another Redken product.

As a guy, there's a fine line between growing out your hair and dating! You better pick the right one early, because once people get used to either one, their expectation sky-rocket. My family loves to challenge me with all the triggering questions about love, marriage and even kids! My trick: Just stick with the hair and the rest will follow!

I'm in love with Redken's Spray Wax! Yes, I'd even marry it... because this spray wax is funky cool! It's like beach hair without the sand and the sunburn that follows. Spray Wax gives me that chunky-hair-look & feel without having to invest an entire day at Zuma - Life Guard Station #7!
