    Great paste; terrible packaging

    Love the paste, but the packaging is terrible. If I have to read the directions for a simple hair product, there's a problem with the packaging. So--I push up from the bottom, release the cap thing on the top, and press. The paste comes out too fast if I pressed too hard. And about 3/4 of the way through the container (but who can know for sure), the cap broke off, so now when I press to get paste out, the tip of the paste is thick or hard because it is not protected by the cap. This is the best texturizing paste I have ever used on my fine, thin, short hair, but I won't buy it again because of the packaging. Why not put it in a tube like the texturing gel?

    It’s just what I need for my shorter, fine hair! Nothing else works as well to hold my hair and keep the style where I want it. It also worked when my hair was a medium, layered length.. Please don’t ever discontinue it.

    Have been using this product since it was called rough paste since the 1990’s and not the same product!! It use to have a stronger formulation and the new formula over the last few years is not great. Will need to look for a new product

    This product was unavailable for an extended period back in 2022. The pliable paste is not a substitute. The texture paste needs to be a staple product for Redken. The size is also ideal for flying/travel. I have been a loyal customer for 10years. Please get this product back online asap. Thank you.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product - but I don't love it. It does provide some thickness to my hair, but I have to use just a tiny bit or my hair starts t5o look greasy, which, to me, defeats the purpose.
