Oil For All Hydrating Hair Oil

I tried this product as a recommended replacement for Outshine01 polishing milk. I am SO disappointed. Outshine01 was a cream that made my hair look and feel fabulous. This product is a spray that just does not (for me) do the job. The spray feels wasteful, even when I apply it to my hand first as shown in the video, and my hair looks and feels greasy no matter how little I apply. I do NOT care for the scent. This is the fourth replacement product I've tried and have not been really happy with any of them. I am a long time customer (been using Redken products since I was in my 20"s) and I always recommended them to my family and friends. This is the first time a reformulation of your products has seemed (for me anyway) to fail completely.

Redken recommends this in place of Align12...but does not come close to Align...some shine but Align was the best for smoothing wavy hair with no greasy feeling...I hope they bring it back..and won't purchase this again.

I love that it comes in a spray bottle, instead of a thick serum in a pump container like most. Its very light weight and alittle goes a long way! I do my morning hair routine, lightly spray over my head, at least 12 inches away- and then use a comb or my fingers to spread it out. The only reason u gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it will make your hair greasy if you put too much on or spray too close to ur hair. The smell is soft and lasts all day. It also controls your frizz! Def recommend trying if you haven't!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It gives the shine when you first put it on, but having black hair it seems to dull out quicker than I'd like personally. I also felt like I had a lite film on my hair as well. It wasn't noticeable to others, but was to me. If I'm just going out for a dinner in the evening I would probably use it to get the sleeker look, but for everyday use I'm going to keep looking for that perfect fit. I will say that with lighter hair colors, it most likely would work, but black hair I feel there is better! I would recommend to friends that are looking for that quick fix for a day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can see how people with very dull hair could benefit from Redken Shine Flash, but it seemed like no matter how much or little of the product I used it just made my hair look greasy instead of a healthy shine look. I tried combing it through after spraying and it didn't help it look any less greasy. It does smell really good and citrusy and tamed some flyaways I had. I would recommend this product to those who really lack any shine, but it gave me too much shine for my liking/hair type.

The spray provides a soft hold to any hairstyle, yet holds well, but can brush through it... beautiful shine and doesn't look or feel greasy. I'm now on my second spray can! I find that it works best with my wavy to curly hair, however, for fine straight hair it adds a little volume, as my daughter tried it too and her hair is straight. It also has an amazing scent that is not overbearing at all. Great for fly aways as well! Highly recommend!

My hair is normally dry, frizzy and wavy, but I noticed an instant smooth feeling as I ran my fingers through my hair after using this product. The spray was lightweight and instantly made my hair look 100% more healthy.

I would definitely recommend this to everyone I talk to. They deserve to have silky hair also!

Before I even used it I sprayed it for smell if I have liked it I wouldn't have used it and rated it low. The smell is pleasant. The hold was great and the shine it added to my hair was beautiful. I was afraid it was going to look unnatural on my c kinky could hair but it didn't it was lovely.

The only thing I disliked is that the scent is pretty strong. It isn't a terrible scent but is a bit intense at first.

It added a nice shine to my hair while keeping away the flyaways. The only small downside to this was it made my hair a little nappy and not soft to the touch.

I did not notice a significant change to the appearance of my hair, especially where shine was concerned. I just had my hair professionally colored last week, so it was already shiny. I've used drug store brands that perform better. At the end of the day, after wearing it for several hours, my hair felt heavy, greasy and weighed down. The dimethicone most likely caused that. Overall, I didn't care for the product, and I would not buy this, nor recommend it to family and friends.

I have purchased different products in the past that help to create a shine like look. I found that Redken's Shine Flash was quick and easy to use. It was not heavy on my hair and still gave me an amazing look. The shine coats your hair but doesn't appear oily. I would definitely purchase this in the future and recommend it to others.

Also, it always get so fizzy. I have been using Redken Shine Flash after drying my hair, and I can see my hair less dry and frizzy. It does smoothes my hair and shine.
