The serum is the best I have ever used, as well as the 25 benefits conditioner. the hair is incredibly smooth, it doesn't frizz, but I love the serum, it's easy to comb, shiny, looks great after drying, I've had various high-end, lower-end serums, but this serum will stay with me for years. beautiful hair happy woman.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have double processed hair which equates to frizzy hair. I started using this serum 2 months ago and can say that Redken recommends to pair this it with the line's shampoo and conditioner. Since I was not supplied with those products to try in combination with this serum I am not sure if this product would have been more effective.
Nonetheless, what I found when using it on damp hair was that I was able to detangle my hair more easily. I would also like to acknowledge that the fragrance was lite and pleasant to smell.
I applied the serum to toweled dried hair then parted and sectioned my hair.

I typically use a blow dryer, curling iron and round brush. During my testing I found that the serum left my hair feeling silky smoothe from the root to the shaft. The ends did not do as well though. They still looked dry even though I just got a new haircut. I used the blower and a round brush most times and was able to straighten my hair and once all section were straighten I pumped two more amounts, rubbed it in my hands and applied to the dryer spot where I usually lay on my pillow and the ends for a nice finish.

The fragrance is light and smells very good.

On days where it rained I found that even though I used the serum my hair did get frizzy. I had to reapply lightly so as not to weigh my hair down potentially leaving it looking oily. Reapplying help a bit. A hot blow dryer helped more.

I checked price points for this serum and found it to be pricey.

I would want the serum to be the be all, end all to my frizzy locks for the price points I discovered.

Overall, the product is good but I feel there are a lot of other choices that will get the job done at a much more reasonable price.

My hair does have frizz and fly-aways and i was happy to try this oil. I little goes a long way, I used one spray on my hands and rub them together then I applied to the ends up to mid shaft, on my hair it felt okay but it was feeling oily after an hour also the ends of my hair looked oily. Again it's the type of hair I have. My hair is wavy and frizzy, it sucks any oil products into the hair and it just looks oily. I think this is a good product for other types of hair.

I have color treated hair that I am growing out so I have a million little fly aways and frizzy hair. This stuff works amazingly to lay them down. I have "trained" my hair to be washed less often, without getting greasy, because it's so long and such a pain to wash (plus I have 3 young kids). I usually wash my hair every 3-4 days. While this product does work well to contain the frizz, I found myself having to wash my hair every other day while using it because it was noticeably greasy the day after. This may not be a big deal for someone who washes daily, or if you just want to use it for special occasions (like I do). Luckily, it doesn't get greasy immediately.
