Extreme Cat Treatment Spray

Really good product that works well for my hair. It works for me and it also smells good too. I feel like sometimes it makes my hair gets oily quicker but good other than that

The first time I tried this product was back in 2016 at the salon I was working at and have used it ever since. This is such a great product for anyone with processed hair that needs some extra love. I find it works best when applied to freshly washed hair that has been towel dried and left on to soak in. After a few uses you’ll see amazing results! I’d like to think this product is one that has aided in my hair growth and keeping it strong. This will forever be a favorite product of mine that I rephrases time and time again!

Like similar products do not use after every wash. These are made use every other was or every 2 or 3 washes. This way the product doesn't build up on the hair defeating the purpose of why you are using them.

I have been using this with other redken products for months and have noticed a big difference in my hair. I’m noticing less breakage when I brush and wash and a lot less when I blow dry or curl my hair

I love Redken and can trust the brand’s ingredients and claims on each of their products. My hair is extremely damaged from constant use of heat tools, bleach and hair dyes. Using the Extreme Lengths line by Redken has been amazing on my hair, especially their leave in hair treatment.
I apply to damp hair after shower and it makes it much easier to detangle while providing sleek hydration that is not too heavy and does not leave any residue. My hair instantly looks and feels smoother, healthier and shinier. It has helped to seal my dead/split ends while also eliminating frizz and dryness. This line has improved my hair health and length!
I feel that all different hair types and textures would enjoy and benefit from this treatment. I would suggest that very thin hair types should use a smaller amount but I absolutely recommend this to my fellow dried, frizzed, split and damaged hair friends!

This product broke my hair. I followed all the directions. I am extremely upset!

I have been using this for over 30 years since they discontinued p.p.t.-s77. Most people who use it don’t seem to know how to use it or what it is supposed to do. Redken would do well to put up videos showing how to use their products and how they are supposed to work so they do not have unrealistic expectations. I apply enough to get a really good foam and cover with a plastic cap for 15 min. MINIMUM. I follow up an Extreme CAT Treatment with a moisturizing treatment for softness and de tangling.

For years this has been my go-to protein treatment. Easy to use and effective. I think the formula has changed over the years, so it's not as intense a treatment, but I still like it.

I am obsessed with this product it leaves my bleach treated hair feeling amazing and strong I only have to buy every 3-4 months it lasts a long time

This product makes my hair feel more healthy after bleaching. While I still use this on occasion, think there are better products now that really repair the damage and have longer lasting results.

Cat treatments should only be used at the salon. The concentration of protein is too much for home use. This is an emergency treatment for over stressed hair. It is amazing!

If you need a good and easy spray to give your hair the nutrients and protein that it needs… this is it. I just have to spray my hair in the shower and rinse it out then continue with conditioner. After time you will see the big difference it makes and you’ll be glad you bought it. Mines almost gone!!

This stuff is AMAZING if you have over processed and compromised hair. Do not use if thats not the case. It instantly strengthens hair that is stretchy and gummy due to lightning. But can be over used easily and cause more damage then helping it.

I like this product I think it definitely helps restore hair! I feel like I have to use a lot because of my hair texture being 4a, but it’s not bad!

I love how strong and bouncy my hair is after using this treatment on a weekly basis. I have fine wavy processed hair. I wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo, towel dry and spray this protein treatment on my hair until I work up a good lather. Then I put it up in a shower cap for about 20 minutes, hop in the shower and rinse well with lukewarm water. I follow it up with conditioner. Impressive results.

This product is great, makes my hair feel a bit thicker when I use it. Smell is ok, but the product seems to do the job.

This product is a great, easy protein treatment for in the shower. I love that it doesn't have to sit on for really long, so I can spray it on and by the time I'm finished shaving my legs, it's ready to be rinsed out. I highly recommend this product for anyone with damaged hair in need of a protein boost!

I really enjoy this product. It’s been doing amazing for my hair with strengthening and having my hair grow back more healthy. It’s great if you’re dying your hair a lot to make sure you’re doing your best at keeping it healthy.

I really like this so far. I use it about once a week in the shower and one week i forgot it and definitely noticed my hair felt much drier and more brittle that week

I really didn't notice any kind of difference from my normal hair while using this product. It's entirely possible I didn't use it correctly or the amount you're supposed to, but it didn't rank as highly as other Redken products. I wouldn't recommend as it really didn't do anything for my hair.

First the description is wrong. It is not cat protein. I believe it should say “extreme care”. The conditioner is this with a not very pleasant smell. It costs the hair well but when I dried my hair after rinsing it left my hair full of static. It did not leave a silky feel as the shampoo did. This is a pricey conditioner that fell short. I cannot recommend this.

Love using this is conjunction with the rest of the line! Brought life back to my severely damaged bleach blonde hair. Give it a try it’s well worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an in-shower leave-in pre-conditioning product. It makes your hair softer than it would be with conditioner alone. In order to use the product, you spray wet hair and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. One downside there is that you do have to spend a bit of extra time in the shower to allow the product to sink in. This may be a downside depending on how efficiently you bathe/shower. If you have dry ends that aren't smooth, this product is for you. It just takes time for it to work!

This works fairly well. I like how soft my hair feels after my hair dries. I have fine, curly, and occasionally dry hair.
