Great for anyone needing frizz/heat & humidity control. Be ware it does affect the volume at the root and made my hair feel flat and heavy.

For 8 years I have been using the color extend line of redken it was amazing, however the line changed to color extend magnetics. Since starting this color extend magnetics it builds up in my hair leaving it greasy after washing it. It no longer feels clean unfortunately had to look into different shampoos. I loved redken before the formula was changed.

Not only has is became part of my haircare products used daily, it has replaced all other products and became my only go to products when purchasing. I love the smell of this shampoo, it's just right and not too overwhelming. It works to help with frizz and leaves my hair very soft with a wonderful shine after every use. I definitely recommend this product and the conditioner as well.

I have tried a couple of the other brands but keep coming back to this one. It works perfectly cleansing my fine, thin hair and giving it enough moisture without weighing it down. I would definitely recommend!

I decided to switch up my shampoo and conditioner and decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, this product has made my hair look greasy, like straw and very staticky. Extremely disappointed.

This shampoo extended my color and made my hair, silky, smooth

Not a bad shampoo but I’m not sure how much it protects fashion color. I had a color correction where my base was blonde with pravana purple placed on top. Of course the first few washes the water will not run clear but it started to run pink instead of purple. For some reason this shampoo pulled all the red out of my hair, now it’s blue. I’m getting it touched up soon and I’m not sure I’d use this again, hopefully another shampoo will help the color stay better and strip it to light purple instead of blue. I do have a sensitive scalp and this did not irritate it.

I just bought the two huge bottles of this and have used it once….IT IS AWFUL. Left my hair greasy the next day and heavy! Just wasted money on this and miss Purology so much. UGH!!!! I have thick wavy hair and only condition the ends of my hair. And do a cool water rinse. Still sucked. Purology is 100x better. What a waste of money!!

I have tried many colored safe shampoos and this is the only one that hasn't stretched my color out of my hair. Highly recommend

Leaves hair greasy, heavy after shampoo compared to old brand non-magnetic

I recently had to switch my Redkin color extend shampoo and conditioner to the new magnetics. I like the feel and the look of my hair. Unfortunately, because it smells so bad, I can't give it 5 stars. If the smell would at least wear off on day two, but it does not. It's strong and distracting. Redkin - please make this product unscented. After 15 years of using your products, I am going to have to find a new shampoo.

I love the way it makes my hair feel and that I don't have to use alot of product even with thick hair.

This is awful shampoo and conditioner !! Weighs my hair down and the static is out of control! Made a huge mistake buying this !

I used the Color Extend for years, it was great! If this is the replacement, it’s terrible. I tried to give it chance, but it DOES NOT perform as well as the Color Extend. This product makes my scalp dry and flaky, and leaves my hair with slight static. Unfortunately, I am forced to look for different hair care line, after being a dedicated Redkin customer for years😕

I used to have really think hair and this product instead made my hair fall out. It fell out in clumps any time I washed and brushed it. My hair has now thinned so much, if feels and looks like I’ve lost half of my hair. Stay away from this product.

Bring back Color Extend! After using Redken Color Extend for decades, I transitioned to this new line. It leaves my hair looking greasy and flat with no volume. I'm very upset especially since I purchased 6 liters at a time like I always do. Extremely disappointed and out lots of money plus nothing to switch to since I have always been brand loyal. But this stuff is junk.
