So as far as a conditioning mask, it is great. It makes my hair feel smooth and isn't heavy. I followed the directions as stated on the back and my hair feels soft. But as for the toning part of the product, I have noticed no change in color of the sort. I never felt that purple conditioners have ever done anything for my hair. And I am a blonde who is also a professional hairstylist therefore I have tried not just some, but a lot of these type of products. I get better results with shampoos.

My conclusion for this product is that it's a great conditioning mask for your hair, but saw no significant change in blonde color toning out brass.

This product helps me stay brighter longer! The smell is great, it's easy to use, and I even like the blttkes. I am naturally dark brown and bleach my hair to platinum so to say it's damages is an understatement. This mask is the best I've tried. It's thick not watery at all. It smells good and my hair is super soft after using it. It cuts the brass and gold tones right out. It did not stain my skin at all. I would highly recommend this.

My hair was very brassy, it was horrible and I am scared of purple mask but I gave this a try. I only left it on for three minutes and it toned down lots of the Brassiness, I will leave it on longer next time this product does not dry out your hair. It leaves your hair really soft really manageable.

I did read the directions before using and decided not to use gloves as advised. They just aren't convenient to use when showering. This mask is definitely a deep shade of violet. Use caution if your shower walls are light and stain easily. It washed off fairly easily for me though. I would recommend leaving on for the minimum time recommended to see how your hair reacts at first. Mine was left smelling great, soft and with a beautiful tone to it. This mask is one that I intend to use in my regular routine, maybe 1-2 times per week.

This mask give my tone an extra boost my blonde always looks great after I use this! Usually toning hair products make your hair dry but this product actually moisturized my hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Redken blondage shampoo and conditioner I towel dried my hair and put on this hair mask. It has a wonderful citrus scent to it. I let It sit for about 5 minutes then rinsed. My hair felt absolutely amazing! It was so soft and my blond highlights were nice and vibrant again! Took the brassiness right out! I've tried many purple shampoos/conditioners and this by far has been my favorite. The product is very pigmented so I would recommend using with gloves and washing your shower or bathtub right after, left my hands and shower slightly purple. But it did it's job and removed the brassiness from my hair. Super impressed. I would definitely recommend these products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say it enough… I HATE yellow of any kind in my hair!!! I have been using the Redken Blondage shampoo/conditioner for a few weeks, and recently swapped out the conditioner for the Blondage express anti-brass mask (as a once a week/twice a month substitute). This mask is very pigmented, which I love. It works quickly, tones out any yellow, and leaves my hair super soft! I also feel like my hair is stronger after using this. I used to tone my hair in between salon visits with Redken Shades EQ (professional grade toner), but I'm definitely going to be able to skip that and use this instead! I will say, if you don't like a slight purple hue for a wash or two (you can get a purple hue out using a clarifying shampoo), I would not leave it in for a full 10 minutes (go with 5), or I would mix a bit of your normal conditioner into this so that it's not so pigmented, just because you're leaving it on for longer than a shampoo or normal conditioner. I personally don't mind it; in fact, I enjoy it! I also suggest following the instructions and wearing gloves unless you like lavender hands! Overall, I have fallen in love with this whole Redken Blondage line, and am not looking back! It keeps my platinum/silver hair brass-free and is easy to use. I am guilty of not wearing gloves and with a quick application it rinsed off from my hands easily. It conditioned and detangled my hair well. I could tell that the highlights in my blonde hair were lighter. I let it sit for about 8 minutes. My hair needed some smoothing down after drying it, but that may have just been the Florida humidity.
